May your death not be in vain

You shall be remembered for eons

Your legacy lives on... There will be many who will miss you, and there are so many more whose lives are better because of you and they will have to thank you

I'll make sure your funeral will have the most gracious service, filled with gratitude for the memories that hundreds, nay, thousands, have had imprinted in their souls because of you

Your body may leave this earth, but your spirit will rise and watch us closely

In the dark of the night, when we will wonder at the stars, we will notice your gaze and feel the reverberation of your presence as a warm embrace

A monument, a mausoleum will be built. Your mere body may be hurt by disease, but a myth, a martyr, lives forever through belief. I'll make sure you’re to tend to your pyre, to be lighting, guiding us forever through the dark.

O, bless us in your death, so that we may wake up on the other side with you in ours.

When our breath gets cold, when our beating slows, when our fleeting spirit will leave us, bless us, so that it may find yours in the stars. Don't ever let us go, don't ever let us too long in the dark, shine your light help us find the way.

Through our death, our pilgrimage may end on this earth, but with your presence we will continue on the other side.

So do not let this death be the end, but the beginning of rebirth for your people for they now have an eternal beacon once they succumb to the poisons of this world as you.
